History
It has been nearly 30 years since Bakker Trailer Parts was founded. Irko Bakker started from his home in Harderwijk in 1984 under the name Irko Bakker trailer parts. In 1990, Ans, Irko’s partner, joined the company and today they still form the management of Bakker Trailer Parts together.
The 1990s were all about growth. In addition to our cooperation with Dutch suppliers, we started looking for international partners in order to be able to match our assortment even better to our customers’ needs. In 2005, the Harderwijk branch became too small and we moved to a larger location in Lelystad, where we are still located today. From then on we became a limited liability company and continued under the name Bakker Trailer Parts. Meanwhile, we have become the B2B supplier and importer in the field of spare parts for trailers, horse trailers, boat trailers, caravans and trucks.
Over the past 30 years, we have built many reliable partnerships with suppliers throughout Europe and the Far East. This allows us to offer the best quality, at the most competitive price. Because we are both wholesaler and importer, it is also possible to order white label or custom items. No storage yourself? Ordering with dropshipment is also possible with us.
